Please convey our appreciation to all of those involved in the programme. The children really enjoyed it and benefited greatly from the sessions. Our staff wish to thank you for all the work the Ulster University Sports Outreach Unit did on our behalf. Please consider us again, should the programme continue next year.

I would just like to express my gratitude again for last Friday. Being a teacher I can see and appreciate the sheer amount of time and effort it took to organise everything; from the buses, the games, equipment right down to the lunches. Sport for LIFE would be an area I’d be interested in exploring myself in the future (perhaps if the Irish government decide to roll it out in every class as a part of the curriculum). I think fitness and nutrition are extremely important to learn about at a young age if we are to avert a serious and expensive problem in our health system in the coming years. Thanks again for everything.

From a UCC perspective, I have no reservation in stating that the students and staff positively engaged with this ‘All-Island’ physical activity promotion initiative. We were overwhelmed with the quality of training delivered by the Ulster Sports Outreach Unit in January 2015. As an academic community at UCC, we have significantly benefited from our participation within the Sport for Life All Island Programme, at both practical and professional level. We look forward to future collaboration in terms of effective strategies for childhood physical activity promotion in Ireland.’

We just wanted to say a big thank you for the Sport for LIFE programme. The programme itself was very successful and Aimee was great with the kids. The final event was a big hit with the kids and they enjoyed the whole experience. Many thanks for everything.
